Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA)

HIPAA requires that medical professionals reasonably safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI). It can be a huge hassle for your practice if you don’t encrypt your data. If a unencrypted server or workstation that contains PHI is stolen, you are required to report the breach to the media. That will just be bad for business! You are also required to have a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) on file with any vendor that has access to your PHI. We have a BAA that we have you sign when you partner with us so you will be covered! We will go over some of the other HIPAA regulations when we review your network and see what is needed.

The team at QuickMSP are well versed with the law and proper ways to safeguard your PHI.

All workstations and servers that we install are encrypted and we take every possible measure to keep your data safe!
